About the Position
BrightFire is looking for a talented PHP Developer, highly experienced in WordPress, to join our passionate and highly skilled team. As a PHP / WordPress Developer you will be a valued contributor and be instrumental in researching and implementing new ideas, solutions, technologies, and development processes.
We maintain an array of custom sites and a fairly large WordPress multisite installation, each with their own unique challenges to solve. The ideal candidate must be a solution-driven problem solver and know how to work well independently and in team environments. You should have experience working as a full stack developer in the WordPress ecosystem, however, the majority of the work will involve creating plugins, refactoring existing code, extending WordPress functionality, troubleshooting issues and conflicts between plugins – basically, anything required to deliver kickass, scalable, and maintainable websites.
In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer flexible work schedules, telecommuting/work from home, paid time off, and performance bonuses.
This is an informal and relaxed environment, but we’re very serious about producing high quality websites for our clients in Georgia and around the country. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team of passionate and driven individuals.
We are NOT interested in outsourcing this work offshore or to contractors, as this is a full-time permanent position with our company.
candidates superheroes should use the form below to send a resume and contact information. If selected for an interview, candidates should be prepared to explain, in detail, their involvement in each project.
Please, no phone calls. Seriously, we mean this.
No need to follow up on your submission — if we think you might be a good fit for us, we’ll track you down somehow.
