Since 1969, ALTAMA Footwear has been a leading manufacturer of mil-spec boots for the US Department of Defense, supplying to thousands of military personnel worldwide. In addition to the US Military, ALTAMA markets and distributes its products to federal, state, and local agencies, military schools, police, Special Forces, uniform shops and Army/Navy retailers.
ALTAMA contacted BrightFire to help promote their sales on the web and through their catalog. BrightFire designed a 21 page catalog, used by ALTAMA’s vendors. This catalog is photo and text rich with all of their military products. The catalog was printed then shipped nationally to vendors to aid in ordering.
When designing ALTAMA’s website, BrightFire focused on designing a user-friendly interactive ordering system, delivering real-time inventory data. The user can immediately inform the customer of availability or shipping dates, enhancing the customer relationship for ALTAMA and their vendors. This dynamic website is not only a marvel of information, but integrates secure logic for the ordering process as well.
Everyone knows logo design is the identity of the product. ALTAMA has two lines, Ortho-tac and EXO, both in need of an identity. BrightFire created a logo that was not only consistent with the ALTAMA brand, but allowed the two product lines to stand on their own.
