Senior Customer Success Specialist Megan McPheely has been a part of the BrightFire family since 2015. Currently, she manages all of our Local Listings Management clients and answers any of their questions about search engine optimization (SEO).
Prior to joining BrightFire and after graduating from the University of South Carolina – Columbia, Megan lived in Australia for a year traveling and interning at one of their biggest news agencies. This wasn’t her first time living in Australia though. Her father’s job moved her family there for four years when she was in fourth grade.
At BrightFire, we’ve developed a series of questions that are scientifically proven to tell you everything you need to know about a person. Here are Megan’s responses to those questions.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
I can’t sing at all, so I usually avoid singing in public. If I had to pick, probably “Wannabe” by Spice Girls. An oldie, but almost everyone knows it, so I would be drowned out.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Scotland and Greece. I’m 50% Scottish, so I’ve always wanted to see my heritage. I love being by the water and at the beach, so Greece draws me in. I also really want to see a sunset at Oia.
What do you usually do when you have time off?
Play tennis, read, and spend time with friends and family.
What’s your favorite movie, and why?
Remember the Titans. Growing up, it was one of the movies my brothers and I could agree on. I also like the characters, Denzel Washington as an actor, and the storyline.
What is your guilty food pleasure?
Ice cream, especially Cappuccino Chocolate Chip from Kilwins.
