Get To Know Taylor Marshall

To really get to know someone new, we at BrightFire move past the small talk and ask a series of questions instead that are scientifically proven to tell you everything! Taylor Marshall is one of our new Graphic Designers and we’d like you to get to know Taylor.

Taylor graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors in Graphic Design from Auburn University. After graduation, she traveled the East Coast freelancing and building a strong background in graphic design.

In addition to working on our insurance agent website designs, Taylor’s job as a Graphic Designer at BrightFire also affords her the opportunity to craft both digital and print ads for some of the biggest musical acts in the industry. She describes her work as visual problem solving.

What is your go-to karaoke song?
I’ve never actually sung karaoke, but whenever I get the opportunity to, it’ll be 100% Britney Spears songs. And “Sit Next to Me” by Foster the People.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’ve always wanted to explore my ancestry if I was ever given the chance to travel — that being said, my ancestry would lead me to Sicily & Poland. A lot of my family’s history was lost during World War II after my family fled from Poland. So paying homage to them by visiting their last known location would be amazing. Sicily, on the other hand, would be a much more vibrant and exploratory trip as my extended family still has colorful stories to tell about their time there.

What do you usually do when you have time off?
The Chattahoochee River! Nothing makes me happier than being outside and by the water. If not there, I am most likely in bed napping.

What’s your favorite movie, and why?
Moulin Rouge! I remember watching it when it first came out (and went right over my head at the time!) but became obsessed with the soundtrack. It was the only CD I let my Mom play in the car for weeks. Eventually, my siblings fell in love with it too, and to this day we can recite almost the entire script. It was funky, heartfelt, weird, made you cry, made you laugh, and all-around provided me and my family with some of my most fun memories.

What is your guilty food pleasure?
Taco Bell or chicken wings!
