Get to Know Tyler Miller

Our team is continuously growing here at BrightFire, and we are pleased to introduce you to our newest Digital Marketing Strategist, Tyler Miller!

Tyler brings a wealth of customer support and management experience to our Local Listings Management, Reviews & Reputation Management, and Social Media Marketing services from previous positions held at Discover Card and RevLocal. Similar to his current role at BrightFire, Tyler spent four years at RevLocal as a Digital Marketing Strategist where he consulted small business owners on business listings, online reviews, social media, and websites.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys a wide variety of hobbies, including playing drums in death metal bands, participating in bodybuilding competitions, building ambulances, cooking, making art, and cosplaying. He also loves video games, cartoons, anime, and movies.

At BrightFire, we’ve developed a series of questions that are scientifically proven to tell you everything you need to know about a person. Here are Tyler’s responses to those questions.

What is your go-to karaoke song?

“Dragonball Durag” by Thundercat or “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would love to live in Japan and learn how to forge a katana.

What do you usually do when you have time off?

I’m always busy, despite actively trying to stay home and play Street Fighter 6. I can usually be found at a friend’s house sharing food and playing board games, going to hardcore/metal concerts, exploring new and familiar cities, watching I Think You Should Leave, or just rotting on the couch with my wife and five wiener dogs.

What’s your favorite movie, and why?

The Last Samurai, The Prestige, Hot Fuzz, Army of Darkness, American Psycho, Robocop… Honestly, there are way too many to list because I can’t choose just one.

What is your guilty food pleasure?

An entire box of cereal in one sitting.
